About the Author

Self-published author of the YA series, The Scarlet Journal, Misha Castillo is a native Jersey Girl, now living it up in sunny Florida. At a young age, she taught herself to read and would create her own stories to share with her family.

A born performer, she attempted to pursue her dream of acting throughout high school and then at Florida School of the Arts. But, like so many of her stories, life gets in the way. Luckily, she is a graduate of St. Leo University with her degrees in clinical psychology. She is currently a student at Southern New Hampshire University seeking a degree in creative writing. She recalled the many times she read and reread The Princess Diaries Series, which made her realize that it was possible to be an author of narratives that reflected how she felt.

Many of her works are found on Wattpad, where you can see her fun-filled fan fictions and original works. She has a deep love of all things Disney, Harry Potter, and Broadway! She is excited to bring her magical worlds to for a larger audience to enjoy!

Currently, Ms. Castillo is working on a multitude of fan fictions for her ever-growing fan base. However, unknown to her fans, she is secretly working on a new Young Adult/ New Adult series. This will be the first book in the series of five.
